I wasn't productive as I wanted to be yesterday, although I did manage to get my bed put back together and made. I don't have to sleep on the floor anymore, so I supposed I did accomplish something inbetween bouts of compulsively checking LJ and watching random drivel on TV... I still have a long way to go, and my motivation isn't going anywhere but backwards, 9_9 Augh, I also woke up to horribly pounding bass this morning, plus a few minutes after I staggered into the living room, some twink decided it would be a GRAND time to start revving id's engine... The only reason these things annoyed me was because I fell asleep with a headache last night, and waking up to loud noises didn't help keep it away.

I'm impressed at how much Ice Cap music helps calm me down tho..... I've got the mp3 player on random, and after skipping the first couple of songs for their bass lines, I let an Ice Cap song play, and I just felt calmer. I suppose this isn't much of a surprise, but it just feels good to have my ice music playing...

I think today I'm dedicating to my art. Once I run my errands to the back, I'm coming home and letting myself play around with whatever I want. Genesis games, more CC-ing, using the piece of HUGE blue paper I traded for in Art class a few weeks ago... just something to make it feel like my three-days off was worth something, because right now cleaning the apartment is making me feel worse, not better.

So yeah, this is pretty much a pointless post. Woo, go me.

~*~ EDIT ~*~

Just more proof my computer loves me: Right after I posted this and checked my Friend's List, I closed Safari and saw my ice cap BG displayed. If that isn't love, I don't know what is.

Note: My BGs are set to rotate once per hour, and since I have about 45 different BGs now, it's pretty random who what's going to show up next. Which is the only reason I'm ever impressed when Yuki can match my BG for my mood, whatever it may be.

Oh, and just to boost my ego a bit more:

Two things

I have realized two things - one, is that item harvesting in Crystal Chronicals is not as rewarding as item harvesting in FF7/8 and two is that my bread has become slightly stale, even tho it's been in the fridge. Bleh, sammiches are not as good on old bread, but it wasn't moldy so I suppose that is a good thing.

Yeah, I've just been trying to item harvest on CC for the past few hours, and have come to find it really isn't worth the trouble. There are too many monsters to fight for too little payoff, and since there are no levels, you aren't even really gaining exp. by fighting the monsters. This only makes me want to play FF7, but since I don't have my copy of it, I can't, >_< Rawr, 'n such... time to go find something else to do.
