Generic update post because you people really don't want to read the massive amounts of squee and fluff that are going on behind the scenes here right now. Don't worry, an upcoming art!post will fill in most of the gaps of this soon.

Things here are mostly in flux. Some good, some bad, some OMFG!Eeeeeeeee and overall, we're feelin' strangely fine. In no particular order:

~ School - Specifically English. Turns out that if I drop the class, I lose my financial aid. If I don't make a 'C' or above, I lose my financial Aid. GUESS WHY I WANTED TO DROP THE CLASS? So am in a bit of a high wind/rockslide impasse there. I'm soldiering through my Final however, because at least averaged with my Color Theory grade, my GPA should get a boost. I'm also told that I can appeal to a Financial Aid board afterwards, to see if I could get my FA reinstated if my case is good enough..? IDK.
The end result is if I don't get my FA back, I'm paying out-of-pocket until I can get it back. Which is generally 3 or 4 classes. My wallet is crying.

~ Work - Same shift, different day. I'd say I was still job-hunting, but honestly that's pretty much a joke right now. Maybe when school lets out, I can devote a little more time to filling out applications, but right now I'm just suffering through the stupid.

~ Health - This is a new-but-old one. At the beginning of the year, I was pretty well depressed. No motivation to do anything, go anywhere - basic hygiene was all I could manage before crawling into bed and sleeping 9 ~ 11 hours after I got offwork. Thanks to some major help, that has changed, but around the same time, I also started taking my multi-vitamins again. Because the two things coincided, I couldn't figure out where my energy spike was coming from.
Most likely it was a combination of the two, but having a steady rhythm down now and having left my multi-vitamins in Nashville, I'm almost inclined to say it's my vitamins.

Now, my mutli-vitamins are essentially compressed vegetable matter that have 100% in EVERYTHING EVER, so trying to narrow down WHAT was giving me such an energy boost... well, needle in a haystack anyone? I thought it may have been a B-complex thing of somesort, but Esther brought up the point it may be a calcium deficiency. I'm lactose intolerant, so I do not get nearly the amount of dairy I ought to be getting, which leads to low calcium levels.

Long story short, I have a calcium/magnesium supplement that I'm going to be experimenting with over the next few weeks. If it IS a calcium deficiency, I'm good. If it isn't, I have a small bottle of vitamins that I can take and keep taking while I find the next mineral to ingest.

~ Con - Ahahahahahahahahahaha I'msonotready. But that's the song I sing every time we're a few weeks out from con, yeah? Hoping now that my Art Final is out of the way, I can dedicate this weekend to doing nothing but con-prep. I'd say I have next week too, but next week ish mah birfday and I am looking at spending it with Very Important People (and friends). I will also have the days between weekends to work (and if my vitamin-energy kicks in, I should actually be able to DO this, instead of just talk about it), so I really have more days than I think I have.
I just also have a ton of work to do. Plus I still need to track down a proper tux and some other odds'n ends. Need my ears re-pierced at some point too... meh.

....and I think that's about it. Birthday invites will be posted when plans get a bit more solidified. Art post will be coming sometime next week, once I get my Final back from my professor. There may be music in there as well.

Back to goofing off, methinks.
