Well, that was exciting hey?
It would figure that as soon as I decide to start trying to update here again, both LJ and I go down to various attacks. LJ to the Russian mafia (again) and me to walking pneumonia (also again). What the hell.
So yeah. That's where I've been lately. Not doing much of nothing except sleeping, eating when I was conscious, and then playing video games in between naps and med-induced comas.
I still haven't really decided about what I'll be doing with my LJ. I know this last piece of downtime pissed off a few more of my Friends List, and while I have deactivated my payments... I, uh, am also paid up through January 2012, so really it didn't do much right this minute. I don't particularly WANT to lose my archives here, but let's face it, I haven't been really using this thing to kvetch into now that I have a decent support net ofreal people I can talk to and get advice from. And that I've learned to KEEP talking to for advice.
We'll see how it goes though. I'm not particularly interested in networking all of my social sites together (lol someone's gotten paranoid lately), and I LIKE having a "safe space" for myself on some of my more secret-sites, so I may stick with LJ yet. Or figure out how to get one of those Dreamwidth-thingies that people keep mentioning they're jumping LJ for....
Mostly I just want my archives, archived. I wouldn't really be upset with losing ALL of my LJ, but the special entries over the years that mark periods in my mental/emotional growth, or particulars about various interpersonal relationships, are entries I'd like to keep around to remind me where I've come from and how far I've come.
All things in good time, however. Got some pretty keen updates that I wanna make here first, plus get back into the habit of journaling about my daily stuff. Gotta have webspace somewhere yeah?
I was going to bitch about work in this entry too, but frankly, I'm too tired to give a fuck right now. I'll mull over it on-shift tonight and maybe Draft up an entry to post whem I get home. Maybe LJ will work again on the work computers, maybe it won't. If there's a random 3am update from me, it worked.
Now, time for dessert and lunch makings...
