So I suppose after four hours of being useless, two of those spent in utter misery of a constantly dripping nose, I could tempt Murphy into livening things up for me by putting on my headphones and pounding out some words about what's been going on lately... This will more than likely get cross-posted, but we'll see where things go.
Starting off with the inevitable, but yesterday (Monday, December 19th, 2011) a good friend, Eric White, passed away from a heart-attack. The repercussions are being felt worse through our circle of mutual friends; Drew and Ryan were far closer to him than I ever was, as well as most of HAAS and a few outsiders. I cannot even really say I miss him, mostly because after I moved away from hanging out with our anime club group, I stopped being around him. I feel sorry, yes - to this day I will cite him as one of THE funniest people I ever had been graced to know, but it is just too surreal to believe he is actually dead.
Then again, I've always processed death a little differently than others, so I'm partially convinced this is just my apathy kicking in and icing over anything that could be construed as actual feelings about this.
Either way, the world lost a good person yesterday. My heart is going out to those who were better friends with him and I can only hope he isn't TOO disappointed if I spend my time cracking jokes about his Life, rather than mourning his Death. I'm sure half the time he never actually MEANT to make me laugh as hard as I did, but I will try my best to make his friends laugh for him after this. 2011 has seen the passing many great people for our group.

... and that's about everything I can think of that would catch you guys up on what's happening in my offline-life right now.
I still have a bunch of art stockpiled for posting, so I may drop an art-post later this week or something. I still haven't forgotten about making a giant cross-post of all of my blog information for everyone, but my main Tumblr sees about as much art as my LJ does right now so it isn't like you're missing anything.
Maybe I could go start working on that or something... start formatting it at any rate. Maybe post it for New Year's or something. If my New Year's start in October has been any indication, 2012 is looking like it's going to be a properly wild ride.
