Some days my mood is incorrigible. Today, happily enough, is one of those days.

I’m going to skip over most of the emotional roller-coaster that was my weekend from April 4th - April 10th because, well, it’s mostly on a Need To Know basis. If you weren’t near Ground Zero, well, I may or may not volunteer direct information depending on the questions and who is asking. Things are amazingly better for all of the harrowing trials that occurred, so take heart in a happy ending that happened and a new beginning that is just starting.

A few of them, if I want to be a bit vague and cheeky about such things… >:3

Instead, I’ll move right into the muck I’m currently slugging through right now. Work roped me into working seven days in a row over the weekend, in trade for a few extra days tacked onto a request I had made for the previous week. It was a windfall that was serendipitous and direly needed (see above), but ugh. Seven days in a ROW. I’ve done longer, granted, but not even two days in, my throat flared up in fire and pain. I was probably running a slight fever too, which doesn’t make anything better, just more uncomfortable.

So I’ve been working an extended work-week, miserably sick and right now… am just trying to make it to Thursday morning.

Haha, I suppose this isn’t as informative as I wanted it to be, but urgh. I still have some emotional turmoil left to suffer through before I can pronounce myself completely out of this particular forest.

I’m alive though. Today is an upswing mood kinda day, though we’ll see how long anything lasts when I wake up tonight… Have my markers down here, plus some art supplies within reach. May just fool around with color a bit. See what comes out, yeah?

So yeah. I’m alive, feelin’ strangely fine and for the most part, doing really 0kay.
