Scanned a whole bunch of stuff last night. Then work got SUPER BUSY and I exhausted myself by going jogging instead of coming home and working.
So it'll be a short night tonight, then more tomorrow as I crop/resize everything else...
So everyone remember this guy? And how he's based off of an embroidered patch from the back of, arguably, my favorite pair of jeans?
Here are the colors for that patch. Like, I had my pants out and was grabbing markers as I colored to make sure I accurately colored him.
This guy was actually drawn.... god, probably six or seven years ago (christ has it been so long???), but I still like him because A) colors! and B) I love those pants, therefore I love this dragon.
Also as a sidenote, I call that particular pair of pants my "Rain Dragon Pants" because for a while it always seemed like whenever I would wear them, IT WOULD RAIN. Without fail. If I put on those pants, either later that day or the next, we'd have a rainstorm that would soak the hems of my pantslegs and be super annoying to sit with all day (because I sit on my feet and wet pant-hems are the WORST EVER).
I know it was just coincidence, but I still can't shake the superstition.
And here is a mush!Lira being a guinea pig for my new woodless colored pencils. Scanner ate this, per usual, but the pencils themselves are lurvely. They're not bad, not bad at all.
Speaking of superstitions, I managed to find my drafting pencil. The peasants rejoiced because I seriously was not looking forwards to replacing that pencil. MUCH AS I LOVE IT 15$ IS EXCESSIVE.
...though given how much of a beating it takes, I really can't complain. I wear them out to the breaking point. Good stuff.
