Welp, time for an update I suppose. Not that much exciting is going on these days...
Spent most of last week, hopefully as sick as I'm going to get this season. It was still miserable, being runny-nosed and vaguely feverish, but I seemed to have kicked the worst of it with just cold medicine and LOTS of juice/water. Here's hoping at any rate.
The bits of my Life that haven't been taken over by work/sleep/anxiety have mostly been devoured by Homestuck. There's a fairly sizable group based out of Atlanta that![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
ludicrous_box and I are working with, plus we have some other friends out in lower-AL and Tennessee that are part of this group as well. The group throws a big meet-up about once a month, and the next upcoming one is Promstuck. I landed the DJ gig for the night, so we're all gearing up to throw, arguably, the nerdiest prom out there, but I'm excited about it. Excuse to dress up in fancy clothes, whee! And this time, I'll be in a dress for it, ohgod.
Atrian gave me a Premium subscription on DA that I, sadly, have not been making the best of... but I think to celebrate MOART March (which is a thing that I AM going to be doing again), I'm going to renew the subscription, rather than letting it lapse. It doesn't do a whole lot that I actually find useful, but I do enjoy getting to browse 120 pictures at a time on somebody's gallery... And maybe eventually one day I'll get around to figuring out how to program pretty journal backgrounds on it and whatnot.
Speaking of MOART March, I am definitely going to be trying to follow through with it this year. I still have some backlog of art that I just haven't gotten around to posting, so those are gonna be for the days I can't scan in anything new (if work gets too hairy), or if I have a WIP that just isn't done yet or something. I want to try to be a little harder on myself this time around too - not just get sketches up, but try to have some things done, in color, once a week. New stuff too, though I may do a theme week or something of "Redraw all the things!" and re-do some of my older drawings.
Or something. Still have a week to figure stuff out.
I'm also, hopefully, going to be using March as the month to turn myself around (again). I've gotten (baby) steps taken towards moving, but I have come to realize that... I need to get shit In Gear and In Motion if I want to make this actually happen. I have a feeling a lot more stuff is going to actually get moved in April, but my goal for March is to get a 3-Month Plan worked out and set-up.
....that's what I'm hoping for at any rate. We'll see how things actually pan out.Mink is a horrible fortune-teller.
Think that's all I have to catch up on at the moment. Don't have much else I can procrastinate on, so I guess I'll get some of my machines running here. Straight-forward night tonight means I might actually sketch some. I have scanning to do anyway, so 's not like I can't scan the few pages I've managed to eke out the last few days. I want to ink some of these so badly, hng.
